A 5th individual has been arrested following Sunday’s attempted robbery of the Dragon Home Wholesale and Supermarket in Spalding, Clarendon.
As reported by Nation Wide Monday evening, a member of the Jamaica Defence Force(JDF) was arrested after he showed up at the scene where the standoff was, begging the lawenforcers not to kill his sibling.
As per the source of the information, the JDF member who was arrested is the brother of one of the 4 men who tried to rob the business establishment. The lawenforcer’s name and rank are yet to be revealed to the public.
The JDF member is expected to be charged soon.
Notably, in the TikTok livestream on Sunday, one of the suspects mentioned that he has a brother who is a lawenforcer.
4 weapons were seized from the incident, on X, on person pointed out the pristine condition of the weapons, stating, “Dem need fi look into the one weh seh him have bredda weh a police and soldier, yuh see how d gun dem criss.”
