Soldier Found Dead Inside Vehicle in Kingston

A male member of the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) was found lifeless in a parked military Prado along Palisadoes main road in Kingston on Tuesday.

As per reports, the soldier who has been identified as Corporal Sekou Medder, was found in the morning with a pistol in his hand and blood on his uniform.

The matter is currently being investigated by the police and joint forces. At this time, it’s not confirmed whether or not it was a suicide.

Pictures from the scene of the deadly discovery have been making rounds online.

In one of the photos, the soldier is seen holding a gun, with the front of the weapon pointing downwards.
