Soldier Killed in Barbican
Reports state that a member of the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF), identified as Major BP Williams, was gunned down on Thursday morning, June 15, 2023 in Barbican, St. Andrew.
The state of affairs leading up to his death is cloudy, however, allegations were made that state that the Major had thwarted a recent attempted car robbery by unknown gunmen and thus was targeted.
BP Williams was reportedly discovered beside his car suffering from what seemed to be gunshot wounds. He was lying in a pool of his own blood and when searched, it was found that his licensed firearm was not on his person.
