The Jamaican dancehall superstar who said she had outgrown her country, had stated publicly that she wanted to use her appearance in “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” to boost her music career as the series is dedicated to exposing emerging talent and she wanted to reach a wider market with her music.
The VH1 crew was in Trinidad and Tobago on Monday to record footage of Spice as she performed at Machel Montano’s Annual Concert, “Machel Monday”. It is the biggest show of the Carnival season.
In March last year, Spice joined season 7 of Love& Hip Hop: Atlanta, but there is no certainty that she will be on the show when it is time to do season 8.
The dancehall Diva was a hit on the show even though she was criticized for her beef with Tokyo Vanity. She apologized for fat shaming her cast mate, but the damage was done.
This caused fans to wonder if she would be considered when the filming started again.
