Spice Talks about Coronavirus, the Irresponsible Behaviour of the Jamaicans and how Stressed She Is
Spice says it hurts her heart when she saw the people in Portmore ignoring the Government’s protocol to do social distancing. Spice anticipates that people might not take the spread of the coronavirus serious enough until they see people dying in the streets.
She believes they have not heard of the many persons who are dying in New York, because of this Jamaicans keep on blaming the Prime Minister and they are not listening.
They are not thinking of the way they can get infected and cause the people in their homes to get sick. It hurts Spice to see what is happening because she is worried that her fans will be among those who die, and she won’t have an audience when she performs.
The people are laughing when the police are nearby, Spice reminds her fans that there are not enough ventilators to save lives in Jamaica, therefore, the people need to take the warnings seriously and protect themselves in a better way.
Spice revealed that she has been sitting in a chair and she is doing everything she can do in the same place, watching tv and eating, as she doesn’t want to infect her children and then watch them suffer when they get sick. This causes her to stay home.
Spice says she is a good housewife now any man can take her up and win with her because she is cooking and cleaning now.
The popular artiste said it doesn’t make sense for anyone to speak to the Jamaicans because they don’t understand how important it is for them to stay home.
She says she knows it is possible to have the virus and it can be in your lungs for 14 days and crystalize your lungs and then the ventilator cannot help.
Whenever Spice sees the crowd in supermarkets rushing to get food, she can’t understand why the people could not buy food and store it up at home before the lock down in St. Catherine began.
She also mentioned a case that happened in New York where a woman died in her home and it took 2 days for the authorities to remove the body.
Jamaican’s need to read more because Jamaica doesn’t have the proper facilities, equipment and workers to cope with this virus, if the death toll should rise.
