Spice Thankful for D’Angel’s Prayers During Her Illness
As she continues to show her gratitude for making it through her recent illness, Spice has expressed that she was thankful to hear that fellow dancehall artiste D’Angel had prayed for her during her ordeal despite their differences.
After travelling to the Dominican Republic last year, initially for cosmetic surgery, Spice suddenly fell ill after going into septic shock because her intestines had erupted. After her emergency surgery, the artiste was forced into a hiatus but has since returned, sharing her story and expressing gratitude for those who helped and showed her support.
In a recent live stream, Spice acknowledged that she and D’Angel had a disagreement years ago and expressed that she appreciated that the Stronger singer extended her support via prayer despite their falling out. Noting that what came from the heart was what really mattered, the Go Down Deh singjay added that she was also grateful for former team spice dancer Stacy Xpression’s show of support.

Spice and D’Angel released their collaborative single No Worries in 2017, and the single, its uplifting message, and the duo’s display of unity were well received by fans. But in 2019, the song would become the centre of contention between both artistes, with Spice sharing that she regretted doing the single with D’Angel.
An aggressive online tit-for-tat between both women followed Spice’s revelation, but the feud eventually simmered down, with both entertainers seemingly steering clear of each other.
