Spice has achieved another notable distinction in her illustrious career, with her 2014 crossover single ‘So Mi Like It,’ produced by Notnice (Ainsley Morris), being featured in the UK television series called ‘Boarders‘, distributed by Paramount Pictures.
Boarders follow the journey of five teenagers who secure scholarships to the prestigious St. Gilbert’s boarding school. The series, developed by Studio Lambert in collaboration with All3Media International for BBC Three.
The show premiered on February 20, 2024, with its second season to be released on February 3, 2025.
This isn’t Spice’s first time landing a TV placement. In July 2023, her 2022 track ‘Clap Clap’ appeared in the Netflix series Survival of the Thickest. Earlier, in March 2023, So Mi Like It was also featured in the Netflix dance competition series Dance 100, where choreographers vied for a grand prize of $100,000.
Originally released in 2014, ‘So Mi Like It’ music video has racked up over 126 million views on YouTube. It went Gold in Canada in July 2023, achieved Silver certification in the UK on August 30, 2024, and became Gold eligible in the US in 2024.
