St Ann Landlord Killed by Tenant Allegedly over Rent

On Sunday a Landlord was stabbed to death by a man, in Lancewood, Exchange which is not far from Ocho- Rios, St Ann. It was reported that there was a dispute and the alleged killer is now on the run.

Desmond Sherwood, the deceased was 58 and lived in Lancewood.

Reports stated that on Sunday, at approximately 6 am the Landlord and the tenant had a dispute about outstanding rent. During the argument, the tenant used a knife to stab his Landlord many times before he went away.

Sherwood was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead and the police are now searching for the tenant.
