St. Catherine Man Stabs Stepson To Death

A St. Catherine man has been accosted and held in remand after being accused of stabbing his Stepson to death after the two got involved in an altercation, that turned out into a fight.

The event unfolded on August 12 when it was reported that the deceased who goes by the name Shawn Wynter, got into a dispute with his stepfather Marco Dacres who is reported to be a farmer in the Byles District Area of Kitson Town.

At 9 pm the argument was said to have escalated into a fight, which led to Wynter utilizing a shovel to strike his stepfather resulting in a counteraction by Dacres that resulted in him stabbing the 24-year-old young man in the chest.

Wynter was rushed to the hospital where he was sadly pronounced dead. Luckily for the name of justice, Dacres eventually turned himself over to the police where he was charged based on a caution statement and an interview he did about the incident.
