St. James Mother Charged for Death of Her 5-M-O Baby

27-year-old Shamoya Green of Barrett Hall, Lilliput, St. James was charged following the death of her 5-month-old baby on December 6, 2023.

As per reports, Green had an argument with the baby’s father on December 6 which led her to throw the infant off the third floor of their home onto a concrete pit in the yard.

The baby was taken to the hospital and subsequently died while undergoing treatment for injuries that were deemed severe by a family source.

The estranged mother was charged on February 24 in the presence of her attorney and her court date is being finalised.
