Stabbing Incident Claims Life Of 55-Year Old In Sam Sharpe Square
A fatal stabbing incident took place on Thursday afternoon in Sam Sharpe Square, Montego Bay and it is being reported that the incident took place while the Police were operating in the area.
According to Loop news who initially published the story, the stabbing incident took place at approximately 3 pm and the victim was identified to be 55-year old Egbert Lloyd from the community of Norwood Gardens, in St. James.
It is understood that around the time that the situation unfolded, people were alerted to a shout after which they saw the man with several stab wounds. It is reported that Lloyd was taken to the hospital for treatment but later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
