Stepfather hits Stepchild and Gets Shot and Killed, Biological Father on the Run

A man who was identified as Owayne Gardener from Westmoreland died after he was shot by two attackers on Saturday. It is alleged that after he hit his stepson in his chest with an object an argument developed moments after with the child’s Biological father, then shots were fired.  

He was taken to the hospital to be treated but he died while he was being treated.

Gardener who was a 22-year-old Security Guard was in a common-law relationship with the child’s mother. One of the men who was suspected of killing him was the child’s biological father.

The reports stated that the biological father is now on the run.

The police are searching for the suspect.
