Student Who Killed Another Student At William Knibb Granted Bail

The student accused of stabbing another student to death at the William Knibb Memorial High School in Trelawny has reportedly been offered bail on condition by the Family Court on March 25, 2022.

The unnamed teenager was charged by the police for the murder of 16-year-old Khamal Hall, a daCosta cup footballer on the school compound during lunch period on March 21, 2022.

He is being represented by South Trelawny Member of Parliament and Attorney-At-Law, Marissa Dalyrmple-Philibert and is scheduled for another court appearance on May 10, 2022.

Reports are that there was an altercation between the accused and Hall over a stolen guard ring. The accused allegedly stabbed Hall with a knife to his upper back after retaliating from being hit with a stick by the deceased.

Hall was rushed to the hospital for treatment where he was pronounced dead.

The accused was subsequently taken into custody and charged by the police for murder.
