Taheer Laing Details Close Relationship His Father and Kartel Once Had: “A two friend a fight enuh!”

The two most anticipated Dancehall shows to end the year will be Sting and Freedom Street Concert and notably the promoters of both events are not seeing eye-to-eye leading to many discussions leading up to the events.
Taheer Laing, in an interview with The Fix, details that he had no ill-will towards Vybz Kartel, however, he believes MC Nuffy has been “ungrateful”. As per the young Laing, MC Nuffy should not have gotten involved in his father and Vybz Kartel’s dispute.
“A two friend a fight enuh!” Taheer outlines before detailing the friendship he saw between Isaiah Laing and Kartel.
“Mi as a likkle youth a guh Stella Maris as a likkle juvenile mi use to come up a mi father office and see kartel all two-three time fi the week, all one box food a eat if you get weh mi a seh, a suh dem use to live,” he went on to declare that things like that make him afraid of friends.
“I personally don’t feel like Kartel and my father have any personal issues,” Taheer stated before highlighting that the media blows their issues out of proportion.
Before closing on the topic he stated that his father “did want Kartel come out a prison” and highlighted that his father thinks Kartel was handed a raw deal by the system. Further pointing to their past, he stated, “The par weh dem use to par, and nuff things weh daddy duh fi him and dem duh fi each other.”
