Koffee the 19-year-old Grammy nominee is tight-lipped with details about a possible collaboration between her and the Barbadian Superstar Rihanna. Sources revealed that Koffee is only saying, “the both of them have been talking and they have been playing around with some stuff. I think something is coming in the soon, but for now, I can’t confirm it.”
Koffee became famous because of her smash hit ‘Toast”. It spent 18 weeks at the top of the Billboard Digital Reggae Sales Chart.
That success was followed by the release of her EP, ‘Rapture’ which held the top spot again on the Billboard Reggae Album’s Chart for 3 weeks.
It has been reported that “Rapture” Mikayla Simpson whose stage name is Koffee is perceived to have the front runner’s place for Best Reggae Album category in this upcoming Grammy Awards.
Rihanna had taken a break from music, the popular star has promised her fans a Reggae come back album.

Other Jamaican artistes who got nominated in the Reggae Grammy category are, As I Am from Julian Marley, ‘The Final Battle’: Sly and Robbie, Third World’s ‘More Work To Be Done’, and Steel Pulse’s ‘Mass Manipulation.’
The Grammy Awards ceremony will be held on January 26 in Los Angeles.
Rihanna has also been secretive about her next album, she has only hinted that it will be Reggae, she has won a Grammy already and her hit songs were ‘Umbrella’, Rude Boy’, ‘Man Down’, Love on the Brain and Diamonds.
