The Police have made a groundbreaking move in their investigations in the Parish of Clarendon, where they arrested a Taxi man who they have said to be connected with 11 murders between the year 2017 and 2021.

The man has been identified as 38-year-old Travis Gilman, from the Lionel Town area of the parish and was placed in a very heated position as he was found to be the subject of multiple accessories to murders committed in Clarendon, before and after the fact.

According to the reports that were first published by Nationwide News, Gilman was the designated getaway driver, to a dangerous gang in the parish and is said to have known about the numerous murders before they happened.

The taxi man was charged for a murder he assisted within 2020, which involved two men namely Akeem “Keemo” Murray, and Kemar “Tafton” Ramatar, who was murdered by gunmen in Clarendon.

Gilman is also accused of playing a part in a double murder of female security guard Careen Walters and Jermaine Brooks which took place in Race Course Clarendon as well as the 2017 deaths of Ian “Junglist” Morris and Rodney “Pryce” Lyndsay who were gun down by men in a Probox vehicle. It is said that Gilman was the driver in the heinous acts.

According to the JCF, they decided to move towards swift justice as they have been amping up their efforts to ensure that even the facilitators of crimes are charged and not just the actual gangsters.
