Teenage Boys Charged For Murder Of Four in St. Catherine
Two teenagers have been charged with the murder of four people in Planters Hill, St. Catherine, on December 11, along with the possession of an illegal firearm with ammunition.
Found guilty for the murders are 19-years old Kevroy “Fatta” Bailey, and 18 years old Joshua “Jah” Lynch, both were charged for the crime on Tuesday, December 22.
Reports are that on the morning of December 11, explosions were heard by residents of the community at approximately 1:30 am. They then checked the scene afterward, only to find the bodies of four people laying down with gunshot wounds.
The injured persons were rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately could not be saved due to the severity of their wounds.
The deceased has been identified as Omar Wright 27 years old, Richard Wright 31 years old, Lester Harvey 49 years old and Nordia Thompson, all from Clarendon addresses.
After investigations, Bailey and Lynch were found to be suspects and were later charged. The dates for trial in court is yet to be set but in the meantime, the police are searching for more suspects.
