The bishop who led Aretha Franklin’s funeral Apologized to Ariana Grande after the accusation of groping
There were a lot of photos taken of Ariana Grande with Bishop Charles H Ellis lll holding her high above her waist, and his fingers were squeezing around the side near her underarm. However, he said “It was never his intention to touch any woman’s breast” when he spoke to the Associated Press.
He apologized, and said, “maybe I crossed the border, maybe I was too friendly or familiar “and added that he hugged all artistes during the ceremony, both male and female.
Viewers were posting photos of Ariana when she was singing Aretha’s song “You make me feel like a Natural Woman” at the ceremony commemorating the famous singer.
Many persons said Ariana looked uncomfortable when he put his arm around her and there were some persons who were saying her dress was too short and then the photo went viral.
The Bishop had said earlier that when he first saw Ariana’s name on the program he didn’t know anything about her. He wondered if Ariana was a new something at Taco Bell. He even apologized to the whole Hispanic community and we can only hope his apology will be accepted.
