The concert in T&T May Not Be the First After Buju Prison Release.

[Sharingbuttons]Sunday night on the Love and Harmony Cruise an announcement was made that Buju Banton first concert after his prison released will be held on the island Trinidad and Tobago.

Donavan German, Buju Banton manager stated that he doesn’t know why the promoters had announced that it will be Buju first show and a retraction is expected to be issued.

Jamaicans were very disappointed after that announcement and some Jamaicans had expressed their feelings on social media. Germain stated that since that announcement had been made they had been receiving calls from around the world from people who really wanted to see mr Banton in concert.

Citizens of T&T were excited but men of the gay community wasn’t too pleased. The song “Boom Bye Bye” had encouraged some people to dislike homosexuals and it should not be performed in T&T. People are still waiting on the apology that Buju never yet gave.

Buju signed the “Reggae and Compassionate Act” in the year 2007. This act was set up by people in the homosexual community and Buju agreed not to make another homosexual gesture in public.

Buju later denied the agreement.
