The Jamaican Dollar trades at Record Low price against the USD

As predicted, after the COVID-19 pandemic started the Jamaican dollar is losing the strength it once had and went to new lows on Thursday.

According to a summary from the Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) the JMD has been losing steadily against the USD as a result of this fall for the National currency of Jamaica the USD went up to a record-breaking $150 in August 2020.
Currently $1.00 USD is worth a total of $150.11 JMD.
The British Pound Sterling traded at $197.28 vs the Jamaican dollar while the Canadian dollar closed at $114.55 from vs the Jamaican Dollar.
The JMD has Jamaica’s national currency since 1969
