The Number of Shows on Buju’s “Long Walk to Freedom Tour” has been Growing

The announcements were made for the concerts in Jamaica and Tribefore Barbados, the Bahamas and St. Kitts were added.
The Jamaican event will be held at the National Stadium on March 16 and the tickets will be on sale as of January 16th. On March 30, he will be performing at an event in Nassau, Bahamas. The full details about this event have not been made public as yet.

Buju Banton whose real name is Mark Myrie, served time for drug related charges in the US and returned to Jamaica after he was released on December 7.

Buju will also be performing at the Kensington Oval in Barbados during the Reggae Festival that is being held there on April 27, 2019.

The St. Kitts Music Festival will take place on June 26th to the 30th. He will be amongst a strong line-up that includes Smokey Robinson, Davido, Popcaan and French Montana.

In Trinidad Buju will be at the Queen’s Park Savannah located in the capital Port of Spain. The concert is dubbed “I Am Legend”. The Trinidadian promoter Glenroy Watson announced the first concert after his release and said it would be held in Trinidad, but he later said he spoke out of turn.

High Frequency Entertainment, promoter of the events, said more acts will be announced in the new year.
Tickets for the show are have been priced at US$143 VIP and US$286 for VVIP. Patrons with the VIP tickets will be close to the stage and they will have a cash bar in the section, while those in the VVIP section will be close to the stage as well, but they will have food and drink that is included in the ticket cost. Added to that, they will have private restrooms and free secured parking.
