The Reggae Dancehall Hitmaker Koffee is featured on Obama’s Playlist

Reggae dancehall sensation Koffee made the cut, when the former US President Barrack Obama posted his Summer playlist on Twitter this year. Mr. Obama’s playlist is highly anticipated, as it includes all the songs (Hip Hop, R&B and Reggae) both he and his wife enjoyed listening to throughout the Summer.

Koffee was recently selected as Apple music’s latest Up Next artiste, and she has been on tour in Europe, the United States and Canada, and there is no sign that she will be slowing down anytime soon.

Mikayla Simpson aka Koffee has been the breath of fresh air for the Reggae music industry. She is just 19 years old, but she is humble, down to earth, hardworking and very talented.

Her song “Toast” has 64 million views on YouTube and that is an achievement that many other artistes can only dream about achieving in their lifetime.

She reposted Barack Obama’s tweet that said, “With Summer winding down here is a sample of what Michele and I have been listening to, some new, some old, some fast, some slow, hope you will enjoy.” And added “Wow, gratitude is really a must”.

Koffee performed with ease at Sumfest and now has a new song out titled “I Don’t Care” which features Chronixx. It is a remix of Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber’s that has the same name. The song is filled with good vibes and it is doing very well.

We can only congratulate Koffee as she is showing everyone that hard work, humility and perseverance will pay off. Now that she has captured the hearts of so many persons all over the globe with her music.
