The Weeknd blasts The Grammys as “Corrupt” after not being Nominated in any Category
The Weeknd who has done great in music in 2020 via his fourth album titled “After Hours” is feeling some type of way after being left out of the nominees for the 2021 awards.
Clearly, in his feeling about the snub, the Canadian rapper took to Twitter to share his feelings about the music organization. According to the ‘blinding lights’ singer, “The Grammys remain corrupt” he went on to outline that they owe him, his fans, and the industry transparency.
The weeknd was not the only one who was surprisingly absent from the nominees, Koffee was not present in the reggae category and rapper Lil Baby did not make it into any category this year.
The Reggae Category is one of 83 total categories listed and according to the Grammys, the albums picked hold at least 51% playing time of new reggae recordings.

One person highlighted that Cardi winning a Grammy when Nicki Minaj did not is proof that they don’t know much about music, rapper Wiz Khalifa retweeted this however he was held accountable by Cardi B in a tweet she also made.
