The Weeknd Will Never Acknowlege the Grammys Again

Canadian musician The Weeknd continued on his tirade agains the Grammy Awards and their committee has previously labelled them as being “Corrupt” shortly after not being nominated for any of the categories in the upcoming show.

The “Heartless” singer who did great in music in 2020 via his fourth album titled “After Hours” is feeling some type of way and continues to express his disregard for the establishment in a New York Times interview.

According to The Weeknd, he will no longer allow his label to send music to the Grammys. 

According to the ‘blinding lights’ singer in. tweet last year, they owe him, his fans, and the industry transparency.

The Weeknd previously won 3 Grammys.

The weeknd was not the only one who was surprisingly absent from the nominees, Koffee was not present in the reggae category and rapper Lil Baby did not make it into any category this year.

The Reggae Category is one of 83 total categories listed and according to the Grammys, the albums picked hold at least 51% playing time of new reggae recordings.
