These are the top 10 Trending Songs in Jamaica Currently

The Jamaican music space Is blazing with new hit songs right this moment, and they might be ringing In the ears of the masses for some time.

Here is a list of the top 10 trending songs on the island at the moment based on youtube stats.

Kicking off the list at number 10 is the young Dancehall star, Skillibeng with his track entitled “who” that features much lyricism and a video exposition of his bike riding skills.

In the number 9 position this week, is young dancehall artiste “Nklyne”, with his newest song entitled “Guard”, which the artist uses to tell his fans to keep protected while trying to make it in life.

Taking the number 8 spot is the “Detta Boss” Alkaline, with his club banger for the ladies entitled “Nuh Wife” which promotes a life of sexual freedom with women, and not sticking to the script of being committed.

In number 7 is “Glu” by Rygin King, which is one of his first songs dedicated to the ladies since his return to the music scene, after the incident that resulted in him being shot.

The number 6 song spot is the Eastsyde boss Skillibeng, appearing again on the list with his hit track “Crocodile teeth”, that deals with the ins and outs of badness.

The song is reported to also be a huge favourite in other Caribbean islands.

The 4th generation leader, Aidonia has the 5th position on song trending with his track “Oh yeh”, done in a way to highlight the genius one has to have to accomplish the tasks of a “gyallis”.

In 4th position is the Yeng Boss, with a new song for the streets entitled ” meditation”, which the artist uses to let his fans know what he is thinking about. The song is very interesting because it was used by Intence to fire shots at a well-known selector for calling his name.

Shenseea and Zum take number 3 spot with the song entitled “Rebel”, which saw the dancehall princess singing about independence, and not being held down by the other party in any relationship.

In the second place on trending is the “6ixx boss” Squash with “Still a Roam”, which carries the lavish lifestyle vibe that the Montego Bay native always conveys in his music.

The song is also widely reported by fans to be a “diss” to his former manager, Heavy D who said the “Money Fever” artiste was broke.

Squash is again on the list but In the coveted number one trending spot with “Money we love”, featuring the King of dancehall Vybz Kartel, and Chronic law.

Even though the song is talking about money and success as the main point, there have been many talks that it might just be a “diss” song as well to all of Kartel’s enemies which happens to be opponents of the “6ixx” as well.
