Less than a day after being released from prison, a new EP titled ‘First Week Out’ with songs from Vybz Kartel has been released on streaming platforms.
As per Apple Music, the musical project was released on July 31, 2024.
However, the 12-track EP is somewhat of a playlist of some of his previously released songs, while he was in prison. It features songs related to his release and being locked up.
The EP features four collabs of Vybz Kartel and Squash, the other songs are by Vybz Kartel alone. 21st Hailos compiled the EP.

Since being released from prison, Vybz Kartel has shared over five posts on social media(Instagram and Twitter). The latest post, done early Thursday morning shows the deejay with a splif in hand, with one foot resting on the other.
He also shared a story Thursday morning praising “GOD”.
