Tiger Woods’ badly Damaged Leg Repaired with Pins, Rods and Screws
Doctors confirmed that Tiger Woods is now alert after he woke up from surgery that was done to repair the significant orthopedic injuries to his right lower leg.
It was reported that both the lower and upper portions of the tibia and the fibula as the bone was broken in many places. While the bones in his right ankle were stabilized with screws and pins.
He is now awake and responsive, at first it was reported that both his legs were allegedly damaged, after the crash he was involved in yesterday, but the Doctor only mentioned his right leg.
It’s unclear what caused the crash however officials are pointing out the 45-year-old’s life was saved possibly by the seat belt and multiple airbags that deployed.
This is not is first major car accident for Tiger, previously made news also in 2009 for crashing his SUV outside his Florida mansion.
