According to his lawyer Donahue Martin who is a part of Tom Tavares Finson’s team, the registry contacted them on Wednesday, letting them know that the court date will need to be done on the 13th of January.

According to Martin, it is not uncommon for the Police to set a date that is inconsistent with what the registry can accommodate, and for this situation was described as a disconnect by the Attorney.

The Deejay was said to have been found with the illegal gun tucked in his waist, after he was searched by the Police, after a spot check on Holborn Road, St. Andrew on December 14, 2020.
