Valiant, Skillibeng, and Kraff first steered up fan anticipation for their collaborative single, Real Estate, with the release of a promotional image, which teased that the artistes were up to something major.

Real Estate made its debut on June 23 on YouTube and is currently #5 on trending music with over 732,000 views and 42,000 likes. The single was produced by Digital Productionz and Claims Records, and its visuals, which were shot by Neiro Don, feature the artistes in the middle of a cat-and-mouse game with the FBI.

Dancehall rising star RajaWild takes the #4 spot with his June 8 release, Wild Out. Produced by Zimi Record and Now Or Never, Wild Out remains a fan favourite and has acquired 1.9 million views and 49,000 likes since its premiere on YouTube.

Still a newcomer to the dancehall arena, 19-year-old RajaWild is already ranked #3 on YouTube’s Top Artistes for Jamaica list. He makes his second appearance on the top trending list at #3 with fellow newcomer Bayka with their joint single Hell Will Raise.

Once a shunned topic in Jamaica, occultism has been embraced by dancehall’s new artistes and interwoven into the preexisting themes of the gorey lives of street youths in a violence-ridden society. Bayka and RajaWild draw on these themes for both the content of their latest song and its music video, which was directed by Shot By Deth and Kd Visuals.

The song has garnered over 388,000 views and 22,000 likes since its release on June 24.

Also making a second appearance on the trending list is Kraff, with his track Ruff C ranked #2. Following its release on June 25, the Countree Hype Entertainment-produced single has acquired over 660,000 views and 30,000 likes. Ruff C follows Kraff’s hit single Audi, which has amassed 3.4 million views.

One of the newest artistes making waves in dancehall, young deejay Najeeriii, claims the #1 spot with his latest single, Panton.

The track is seemingly named after former Stocks and Securities Limited (SSL) employee Jean-Ann Panton. Najeeriii appears to parody the accused fraudster’s appearance in a wheelchair at court earlier this year as he declares that he and his cronies are bigger than the alleged scammer.

Panton has so far garnered over 586,000 views and 32,000 likes since its release on June 25.
