Top 5 Trending/Hottest Dancehall Songs in Jamaica Right Now – October 2023

Dancehall artistes Skippa and Najeeriii take the number-one spot for the top trending music video in Jamaica at the start of October on YouTube with their collaborative single Like Bob. Their dancehall counterparts Skeng, Valiant, RajaWild, Chronic Law, and 450 claim the remaining spots on this top five trending list.

Kicking off this month’s top trending list is 450’s Cold Streets, which takes the #5 spot. Released almost a month ago, the single remains a fixture on trending as its narrative-structured storytelling continues to connect with fans. 

Produced by Tru Ambassador-Next Generation and Falcon, Cold Streets has amassed over 1.4 million views and 51,000 likes on YouTube since its release on September 10.

Chronic Law takes the #4 spot on this trending list with his track Area 51. The Life Cycle deejay continues to warn against enemies disguised as friends in this New Wavez Entertainment-produced track.

Area 51 is one of three Chronic Law singles currently on the overall top twenty trending songs in Jamaica on YouTube and has acquired over 986,000 views since its release on September 10.

Dancehall newcomer RajaWild claims the #3 spot with his recently released single Grung. Not afraid to poke the flames of controversy, the young artiste continues to endorse the sinful lifestyle and places Jamaica’s latest controversial object, the “Dunce” school bag, front and centre in Grung’s music video.

Produced by Gloom Music, Grung has garnered over 429,000 views and 19,000 likes since its release on September 21.

Collaborating with producer Jiggy D once again, Skeng takes the #2 spot with fellow deejay Valiant with their track Loyal Gyal. Produced by Jiggy D Entertainment, Loyal Gyal was released on September 29 and has so far acquired over 619,000 views and 47,000 likes.

As his popularity in the dancehall arena continues to grow, Najeeriii takes the #1 spot with his collaborative single, Like Bob, with Skippa. The track was produced by Sulfa Ge Records and follows the release of Skippa’s single Hellboy and Najeeriii’s Big Thief.

Like Bob has so far acquired over 301,000 views and 18,000 likes since its release on September 26.
