Top 5 Trending/Hottest Dancehall Songs in Jamaica Right Now – September 2023

Dancehall artiste 450 claims the number-one spot for trending music in Jamaica with his recently released single Cold Streets. The Gyal Magnet deejay is joined on the trending list by his fellow entertainers Najeeriii, Chronic Law, and RajahWild, who round out the remainder of the top five list.

Despite not having the top spot on YouTube trending, newcomers Najeeriii and RajahWild are nonetheless the most popular on this list, with each claiming two tracks out of the top five songs. The young artistes claim the #5 spot on trending with their joint single Polkadot, which was produced by YC Studios and Unapologetic Musiq.

The track has acquired over 785,000 views and 27,000 likes since its release on YouTube on August 25.

RajahWild makes his second appearance on this top five list, with his latest track, Tell Me, taking the #4 spot. The single subverts listeners’ expectations as the artiste diverts from his usual lyrical content and delves into the harsh reality and limited options that today’s youths face.

Produced by Moringa Boss Music and Shawn Productions (SP), Tell Me has garnered over 416,000 views and 25,000 likes since its release on September 8.

Chronic Law takes the #3 spot with the single Area 51. The track was produced by Bronco.don under the Wavez Entertainment label and has so far acquired over 300,000 views since its release on September 10.

Despite Area 51’s recent release, the hard-at-work artiste has already debuted two more tracks: Millionaire, which premiered on September 11, and the Temple Swing Records-produced track Too Caught Up, which debuted the same day.

Najeeriii makes his second appearance on this top five list as he takes the #2 spot with his single Rockabye. The single follows his collaboration with RajahWild and was produced by YC Studios GODFLOWW.

Following its release on September 8, Rockabye has acquired over 453,000 views and 24,000 likes.

Kingston-born deejay 450 secures the #1 spot on the top trending list with his latest release, Cold Streets. 450 weaves a foreboding tale in this Tru Ambassador-Next Generation and Falcon-produced track.

Directed by MANIAC, the track’s music video premiered on September 10 and stars comedian, actor, and artiste Valdomore. Cold Streets narrates the story of Ricky, a Jamaican youth who falls prey to the criminal elements in his community as he tries to steer clear of a life fueled by violence.

Following its release on Sunday, Cold Streets has amassed over 531,000 views and 36,000 likes.
