Tropical Storm ‘Elsa’ Heads Towards Jamaica

According to the Meteorological Service of Jamaica, the island should brace for a possible impact from Tropical Storm Elsa that is also a threat to multiple other Caribbean islands.

The warning was sent out late Thursday and the tropical storm conditions could impact Jamaica over the weekend, mainly on the north coast.

Based on the last report, Tropical Storm Elsa had maximum sustained winds of 45 mph or 75 kph, the storm is moving west-northwest at 29 mph or 46 kph.
