Tropical Storm Grace Attacks Jamaica

Currently, there is heavy rainfall across Jamaica and reported floodings in some sections of the island as Tropical Storm Grace increases in strength and continues to move towards the northern coastline of Jamaica. As reported by PM Holness minutes ago, “a Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for the entire island”.

According to Jamaica’s Meteorological Service, Tropical Storm Grace is expected to produce 4-6 inches of rainfall over Jamaica today. Flash flooding and landslides should be expected. Strong, gusty winds will also be experienced as the storm moves across the island from east to west.
