Two Women Arrested and Charged for Trafficking 3 Girls Under 16 Years
Two women were arrested and charged last week by members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) Anti-Trafficking Vice Squad for child trafficking three girls under the age of 16 years.
Both accused have been identified as 39-year-old Nicole Brissett of Lucea, Hanover and a 33-year-old of Hanover and St.Thomas addresses.
Chairman of the National Taskforce Against Trafficking in Persons (NATFATIP), Courtney Williams, communicated in 2021 that more than 100 victims of human trafficking have been rescued in Jamaica over the last decade.
