John McCain was brave and dedicated he was the heroic naval officer that was held captive during the Vietnam war, but he returned and began a career in politics. He rose to be one of the most respected persons in Republican Party and represented Arizona for 30 years in Congress.
However, he was unsuccessful when he ran for president in 2000 and 2008, but he never stopped serving the people.
In 2017 he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma a brain tumor, and he was treated with radiation and Chemotherapy before he died.
The former President Barrack Obama made a great statement about him and other tributes have been pouring in.
His daughter Meghan McCain released a statement about his death and the legacy he is leaving behind. “He was a great fire that burned bright and we lived in his light and warmth for so very long. We know his flame lives on in each of us”.
Mr. Donald Trump will not be invited to his funeral.
