Usain Bolt Links Up With Ronaldinho after Playing CONMEBOL Legends Match – See Photos and Watch Videos
Ahead of the Copa América 2024 draw on Thursday, football icons gathered in Florida for the South American Football Confederation’s (CONMEBOL) Legends Match, with Jamaican sprint legend Usain Bolt linking up with Brazilian football great Ronaldinho Gaúcho.
Hosted at Inter Miami’s DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday, CONMEBOL’s Legends Match treated football fans to a showdown between football icons from Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, and Venezuela.
Usain Bolt joined Team 1, sharing photographs of him and his teammates, such as Argentine Sergio ‘Kun’ Agüero and Columbian Carlos Valderrama, in their dressing room on his Instagram page on Wednesday.
Bolt also posed for a photo and stopped for a quick chat with his rival for the day, Team 2 member Ronaldinho, who secured his team’s only goal as Bolt’s team were the victors with a 2-1 win.
Giving Bolt a parting gift at the end of the game, the renowned former footballer signed his jersey before exiting the field.
Bolt’s longtime girlfriend, Kasi Bennett, also shared a look at the Legends Match, sharing a short video of the retired sprinter on the field.
