The highly anticipated collaboration between Vybz Kartel and Valiant was released some hours ago. The official audio of the single, Time Heals, dropped on Vybz Kartel’s official YouTube channel. The dancehall veteran paired up with the Dunce Cheque sensation for a love track.
The song, which samples American rapper Yung Bleu’s single You’re Mines Still, features the prominent deejays singing about love and infidelity mistakes that are threatening to end their relationships.
Vybz Kartel sang Yung Bleu’s lines in the chorus, telling his woman, “They say time heals, she can’t see her life without me, she so blind still. F**k that nigga. You can tell him that you mine still.”
While Vybz Kartel reflected on how he had cheated with a girl he did not want in the first verse, Valiant spoke about being young and “toxic” in the second verse.
The song garnered over 25,000 views and 5.9K likes within 3 hours of being posted.
