Vybz Kartel Celebrates Prison Release With 150 of His Family Members
Part two of the interview Vybz Kartel did with FOX 5 NY’s Lisa Evers was released hours ago after the first part was released a day prior. In this latest interview footage, Vybz Kartel talks about spending time with family, being able to visit his doctor regularly and focusing on health.
“Healthwise, you know I’m just working on my health right now, but, the feeling of being free is just an amazing feeling,” In May, it was reported that his heart function was at 20% of the normal functionality.
“I could be better but i’m super upbeat,” he says when asked about his current feeling in the new interview.
With regards to his latest endeavours to get fit, he stated, “i literally bought a bike… the exercise bike and a treadmill… and set it up so I’ve hit the ground running.”
According to Dancehall artiste, being free is “amazing” and things are “infinitely better” as he detailed his doctor arranging a “special diet” for him.
Further in the interview, stated, “A hundred and fifty of my family members were here yesterday, just celebrating, cooking you know having a fun time, praying, and just giving thanks for life and the best is yet to come.”
As per the reporter, he has been getting ‘invitations to perform all over the world’, however, he is first looking to regain his health.
