Scenes from Vybz Kartel’s release have been making rounds online, with the most recent footage of the deejay being a video he uploaded online moments after his release from the Tower Street Adult Correctional Centre formerly known as General Penitentiary aka GP.
The video shows Vybz Kartel and his partner Sidem Ozturk in the back of a vehicle, listening to music as he drank champagne, he also kissed her at one point. “Yow, one don, me and mi baby,” he stated.
As a caption for the video, he wrote, “ME AND WIFEY #AMOUT.”
The deejay was released about 5:30 PM on Wednesday, a few hours after it was announced that there would not be a retrial, calling the historic case to an end, and allowing the accused men to walk free.

Following the Ruling, Isat Buchanan called the decision a “win” for Jamaica’s justice system, he also saluted the judges and defence lawyers involved, both past and present.
