However, the attorney who now represents Vybz Kartel, whose given name is Adidja Palmer, revealed that his client is now extremely peeved by those rumours.
The lawyer, Isat Buchanan reported that Palmer is not desperate and he didn’t like the way the Christians said they welcomed him in the church because he is still trying to prove his innocence.
The deejay was offended by the fake news and revealed that there was not enough water in the prison to baptize anyone in holy water. He has been behind bars since 2014.
“He emphatically denies that he was either baptised or contemplated it and he is certainly not desperate and is offended that the church and others would say that they welcomed him doing that because that is an attack on his position that he is innocent and does not need to repent for anything,” the lawyer said, According to the Jamaica Star.
