Vybz Kartel Explains Why Popcaan Was Shaded by Likkle Addi: “Me and him good yah now”

In his latest interview, Vybz Kartel told Keyshia Ka’oir that some members of the Gaza Empire camp turned their backs on him after he was incarcerated. According to the deejay, his family was the ones mainly on his side.

“A lot of people especially in the entertainment industry… from my camp,” he outlined, however, he pointed out that he did not “needed anything from anyone”. He stated that some of the people who turned their backs on him while he was behind bars are trying to draw close to him nowadays but he won’t let them around him.

“It too late… the door is closed,” Kartel says.

Aside from those who switched on him, Kartel talked about his daily lifestyle, music and what the feeling was like when he discovered that he would be leaving prison. Now out for two months, Kartel also expressed that a lot of people go to prison and become members of new gangs, sending them out into the population as gangsters in bigger organisations.

Later on in the interview, Kartel was asked about Popcaan being shaded by Likkle Addi, Kartel responded by saying, “I would say that every relationship have up and sideways… memba seh Popcaan a mi son enuh… Me and him good yah now…. we talk and everything.”

In the interview done in Montego Bay, Kartel also said Mavado is his brother and they are also on good terms now despite their fallout in the past.
