Saint Lucian singer Mon Cherie who released multiple songs with Vybz Kartel in the past, spoke out against the deejay again on Monday and bashed him and his fiancee Sidem Öztürk online.

Mon Cherie, born Cherie Stoute, collaborated with Kartel on three singles during his incarceration.

However, their professional relationship soured after the release of their collaborative tracks Gates of Heaven, Bay Bay, and Can’t Say No, with the singer accusing Kartel of giving her songs to other artistes.

In 2023, Mon Cherie alleged that her feature on Kartel and Likkle Addi’s My Own World was replaced with Renee 6:30, and she accused the deejay of treating his collaborators unfairly again today. In a video shared to her social media pages, Mon Cherie dubbed Alkaline as the better artiste and said that Kartel had instructed her to stop following him.

“Alkaline badah dan you n**ga. Alkaline been badah dan you n**ga. That’s why years ago when I used to follow Alkaline, he messaged me and tell me not to follow him… You told me to unfollow Alkaline because you were jealous of him,” Mon Cherie said.

Prior to today’s posts, Mon Cherie shared a video featuring Alkaline’s track Dangerous Youth. In today’s video, she also accused Kartel of withholding royalties from his artistes.

“You nothing but a bitch, Kartel. You owe all your f**king artistes royalties; that’s why you can f**king mansions and shit like that.”

Questioning if he has ever paid Vanessa Bling her royalties, Mon Cherie expressed that she is fortunate not to have to depend on Kartel.

“Have you ever paid her royalties? She has to work for everything she has. A good thing I’m rich and my parents are rich. I don’t have to beg anybody for anything, especially you. F**king Vybz Kartel, your a f**king bitch, n**ga. And you wanna see real bad man? Come to Saint Lucia. I’ll show you real bad man,” Mon Cherie stated.

In addition to criticising his latest musical releases, Mon Cherie also lashed out at his fiancee, Sidem.

Seemingly reacting to the backlash, Mon Cherie took to her Instagram stories to hit back at the people calling her crazy.
