During an interview, the fireman Capleton said he is a strict vegan and he does not consume dairy, ice, liquor or any other non-vegan food. He also stated that he travels with a private chef as it is hard to find food to eat when he travels.

According to Capleton, “Yah fi just eat vegetable and fruits and nothing else…but okra is my favourite…if nuh okra nuh innah mi food mi nave nuh happy time, mi cyah eat.”
