Watch: Flippa Mafia Dancing His Way Through Prison Gates After His Extra Early Release From Prison

The self-proclaimed flossing king Flippa Mafia has literally hopped, skipped, and danced his way through prison gates after an apparent early release. Video footage captured the Dancehall artiste dancing with joy and relief immediately after being freed as he exclaimed, “Freedom is a must, road.”

Attired in what seems to be prison clothing, the deejay looked overwhelmed with happiness and laughter for his freedom as he was greeted by a female cheering him on while capturing the moment on camera. Reports also suggest that the Dancehall star completed a high school diploma, and even earned himself a Bachelor of Education degree as well.

Almost ten years after he was first arrested on drug charges along with his girlfriend and two of his brothers, the Unfinished House artiste was freed from prison last October ahead of schedule, reportedly on parole. The video of him walking out of jail has apparently resurfaced and gone viral.

Despite being sentenced to 25 years in prison in 2016, the dancehall artiste served only eight years behind bars on drugs and money laundering charges. According to prosecutors, the Jamaican entertainer, along with his brothers and girlfriend, led an international drug trafficking and money laundering ring, and police say that Flippa Mafia was the kingpin behind it all.

In addition to paying restitution of $250,000 to the state, he was also sentenced to serve eight years imprisonment in connection with one money laundering count and a maximum of 17 years for heroin possession.

Along with the Flossin King, Marsha Bernard, Flippa Mafia’s girlfriend, was also sentenced to 21 years in prison, his brothers Roger Davis received ten years, and Kemar Davis received 20 years. However, they have all been released from lockup.
