WATCH: Its Dia and Crawba Genius Drop “Tik Tok Damages” Music Video
Bahamian artiste Fredia Major, better known as Its Dia, delves into the realm of relationship struggles in her latest single, Tik Tok Damages. The mellow song, in which Dia vents about unreciprocated love, was produced by Crawba Genius, who is part of Charly Black’s Team Unstoppable.
The track, accompanied by a music video, was released on Sunday night.
Tik ToK Damages tells a love story about a woman who attempts to smoke and drink away the sorrow she feels from her broken heart. However, the affection she feels only intensifies her distress each time she encounters his social media posts.
In the song, Its Dia can be heard singing, “Like eyes with no vision, I wish I could not see yah, cause when I think I am holding up, I go liking your pictures. When I send you hearts with love, you reply my time is up.”
Its Dia also reminisces about the love they once shared, hinting that they were once lovers.
As she pours her emotions into her music, the music video depicts her drinking and smoking at a poolside. The artiste wears a peach swimsuit complemented by a bucket hat and accessorized with hoops, a small necklace, and sunglasses.
Throughout the video, she alternates between lounging inside the pool with her phone and chilling at the poolside.
