WhatsApp Provides A List Of Phones That It Will No Longer Support in 2023

The widely known messenger app Whatsapp has been around for quite some time and has since been the go-to messenger application for smartphone users. The application, which was founded by Jan Koum and Brian Acton, was launched in 2009 and grew exponentially throughout the years.

Since 2009, Whatsapp has added features and updated its software to make the lives of its users even easier with a quick and simple interface.

Due to new updates, the mobile application has given a list of 49 smartphones that will no longer be able to keep up with the communication application; hence, they will be removing the service from them as of December 31, 2022, based on information garnered from Gizchina.

This is not the first time WhatsApp has published a list of phones whose functionality will be discontinued. Don’t start worrying, however, because although most older smartphones are still in use today, chances are that you upgraded a long time ago to a newer model, so you will not have to stop using the communications application to talk to loved ones and friends.

Unfortunately, if yours is on the list, you may have to consider upgrading to a newer model if you want to continue using the mobile application’s services.
