Will Smith says he will support his estranged wife forever despite their many disagreements, as he finally addresses Jada Pinkett Smith’s many revelations about her partner, Tupac, and their complicated marriage.
The multi-talented actress, 52, has made several revelations in recent years about her life behind closed doors with the Oscar-winning actor, 55, with one of the most recent coming a week ago regarding rapper Tupac.
Smith surprised his wife, as well as the wider public at large, by announcing his unconditional love and dedication to her, via a heartfelt speech on a Baltimore stage Wednesday night.
“Can you love somebody forever, no matter what, can you show up and love somebody for the rest of your life even when you don’t agree with them?” Will Smith questioned. Shortly after that statement, the actor jokingly said the only person he knew who did that was his mother, which garnered much laughter from the audience.
In the midst of the excitement, as Smith freely spoke from the stage to loud cheers from the audience, Pinkett Smith stood next to him, hugging him tightly, while both of their kids looked on from the side of the stage.
Will Smith continued his supportive speech by stating, “Jada is the best friend I have had on this planet, and I am going to show up and support her for the rest of my life.”
