Woman Cuts Off Her Boyfriend’s Penis After He Tries to Rape Her Daughter

A woman from India allegedly severed her boyfriend’s genitals after she caught him attempting to rape her 14-year-old daughter.

Reports state the 36-year-old woman from Uttar Pradesh, northern India, returned from working on the farm to find her 32-year-old partner of two years attacking her daughter. The pair had started living together after the mother left her alcoholic husband. Detailing the incident to the Times of India, she said she had fortunately returned in the nick of time to catch the man red-handed.

The woman told the Times that while attempting to save her daughter, the man attacked her, prompting her to reach for a knife.

“So I brought a knife from the kitchen and chopped off his private parts to teach him a lesson. I have no regrets for what I did,” the woman stated.

The accused was hospitalized and is in critical condition, according to reports. While it is not yet clear if the mother will face any charges, an officer from the Lakhimpur police department confirmed with the Times that the accused was booked for rape under section 376 of the Protection of Children Against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

The POCSO Act was passed in 2012 after the brutal gang rape of a young woman in New Delhi that same year. The fatal attack led to widespread protests by thousands calling for stronger laws.
