Woman HISTORICALLY Delivers 10 Babies

Ooh Mama! A report out of South Africa is that Gosiame Thamara Sithole aged 37 delivered 10 babies on Monday night, June 7.  If confirmed, the Guinness World Records would likely enter this as the most babies delivered to the same woman during any single delivery, exceeding the nine it has on its records. 

Teboho, Gosiame’s husband, said that the couple had been expecting eight babies based on what doctors had indicated to them. The mother is said to have delivered the babies when they were seven months and seven days old, seven boys and three girls in total. The ecstatic father said that he was happy and emotional.

The 10 babies were delivered via C-section and natural birth, they are currently getting specialist care.

In May, a 25-year-old Malian female gave birth to a record 9 babies. The female originally expected 7 babies, however, was surprised when an additional two more appeared during delivery which was done via cesarean section.
