Woman’s Body Found Floating in River in Hanover

Shortly after 7 O’Clock this morning, the body of a woman was discovered floating in the Barbican River in Sandy Bay, Hanover by residents of the area, who then made a report to the local police.

According to police officials, it is believed that the woman was killed elsewhere and dumped at the location. Identified only by the moniker Princess, the deceased was a bartender and revealed to be a Kingston resident.

The people residing in the area confirmed that they only knew the woman as ‘Princess’ and disclosed that she was known to work at several bars in Sandy Bay, Hanover.

After arriving at the scene, law enforcement removed the body from the river after which it was taken to the morgue. No definite cause of death is yet determined as the post-mortem result for the deceased is still pending.
